Kaiapoi is easily accessed from the Northern Motorway, State Highway 1, just 20 minutes north of Christchurch.  When you enter Kaiapoi you will discover why the river town is a popular destination for locals and visitors.

Pathways and cycling tracks alongside the river provide a variety of views of the Kaiapoi township and there are many reserves for picnicking.
