Built around a beautifully designed feature lake and extending to the shores of Pegasus Bay the town has been designed to offer residents and visitors a lifestyle built on a remarkable array of attractions, entertainment and community resources.

These include a 14 hectare feature lake with filtered and temperature-controlled swimming bay, natural rock outdoor hot pools, restaurants, cafés and bars, shopping districts, a superb surf beach with lifesaving facilities, an 18-hole championship golf course, KidZone play area with the longest slide in New Zealand, equestrian centre, resort hotel with day spa and conference venue, primary school and much more.

Set at the heart of a remarkable coastal eco-system, Pegasus has been designed to protect and enhance the conservation values of its surrounding environment. Three distinct wetland areas with boardwalks and bird hides will provide extensive waterways for kayaking and recreation and will be linked by a 25 kilometre network of walking and cycling trails.
