Kaiapoi Library Kaiapoi Library is one of three in the Waimakariri District Libraries network. Located in the centre of Kaiapoi, alongside the Kaiapoi River and in close proximity to shopping and cafes, Kaiapoi Library is a great place to read the newspaper, surf the internet or find a good read.
You can also pay your rates, renew your dog registration or get help from Council staff at the Waimakariri District Council Service Centre located in the library.
Waimakariri District Libraries have a huge collection of fiction, non-fiction, DVDs, videos, magazines and music. We also offer a wealth of reference and local history information both print and electronic, and if we don't have what you need we can interloan from other libraries.
Membership is FREE for all ratepayers and residents of the Waimakariri district, for anyone attending an educational facility in the district, and for any child aged under 5.
Visitors are welcome to use the facilities in the library and may join the library for a subscription/fee.
