Anna and Tomas' program will include; Dvorak Rondo op.94 Pärt Spiegel im Spiegel Martinu Sonata for cello and piano no.2 Ukraine born Anna was raised in NZ and has a host of amazing teachers and musical influencers including Dr Gao Ping and Michael Endres. Anna has been the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, including Dame Malvina Major Foundation scholarship. We are so fortunate to have Anna locally as a performing pianist and a teacher at her studio at The Piano, Christchurch. Anna has been collaborating with the Très Cordes trio since 2017. Czech born Tomas, is presently Associate Principal Cellist for Christchurch Symphony Orchestra as well as a cello teacher in Christchurch. Tomas has performed as a solo artist as well as with chamber groups and orchestra throughout the world. He is passionate about period instrument playing, founding the Baroque Music Community and Educational Trust of New Zealand. Our final delightful free Sunday concert for the season, brings internationally flavoured musicians and music proudly brought to you by the Waimakariri Community Arts Council. Sunday September 15th, Chamber Gallery, Rangiora Library, 2pm.
