Celebrate and reconnect with the people of Ngāi Tahu. There will be entertainment, information, laughter, stalls and fun for all ages.
4pm – stalls and exhibitions open.
9.30am – stalls and exhibitions open. Tours start at 9.30am
8pm – Saturday night’s concert – the talented Marlon Williams and the ever popular polyfunk band Ardijah. Don’t miss this chance to see these amazing artists perform on the Hui-ā-Iwi stage.
10am to 1pm – stalls and exhibitions open.
Also included during the weekend:
Jetboat Rides on the Waimakariri; Ngāi Tahu tourism will be offering jetboat rides to whānau on one of the Shotover Jets during Hui-ā-Iwi. You will need to register for this so look out on the Ngāi Tahu website for the link.
Tiki Tours: There are free bus tours that will showcase the wonderful taonga in our rohe. You can register for these wonderful trips on the day. This event is smoke and alcohol free.
